Instructions: Find at least 5 books that you would like to read. You can choose from Teen Fiction, Classics, or Graphic Novels. Try to include at least one book from Teen Fiction and one Graphic Novel.

After Reading: Target: Use after reading strategies to help you think about what you just read.
Go to the discussion board and respond to one of the prompts. Remember to respond in five or more complete sentences. Put the title of the book in the subject line. You will respond to each prompt at least once.

Think about the kinds of mementos you would put in a scrapbook for your character, cutting out pictures from magazines or drawing the mementos he/she would have in a scrapbook—and create the scrapbook. Write an explanation of your choices
Write a diary that one of the story’s main characters might have kept before, during, or after the book’s events. Remember that the character’s thoughts and feelings are very important in a diary. Must include 5 diary entires 1 before the book starts 1 during the book 1 after the book 2 other entires Present the entries in logical time order to follow the book.
Create a personality folder for a colorful character in the novel. Using a file folder, create a montage of pictures portraying the character’s personality on one side. On the other side write a detailed explanation of the illustrations/pictures.
Create a Board Game based on this book. For your presentation, you will explain the game to us. Then we will put it out as a free time activity.
